Been down and slightly out with the darned flu and stuff, but i’m baaaaaaaaaaack!!!

Anyhoo, hope the show yesterday was entertaining. Uncle Mao was thicker than thick as usual. And do remember to check out the museum of broken relationships! Kinda cool… I’d want to check it out myself (when there’s time).

Oh, yea next week, Daphne Khoo will be on the show! The week after, King Kong Jane will be up here as well for an interview… so, fans, check them out!

I was wondering during the show (but i didn’t have time to slip it in) about heart transplants. Let’s say for example, I love wearing fur (in reality, i don’t of course… unless the fur is lining for handcuffs). Then I get a heart-transplant from a PETA ambassador (okay, highly unlikely i’m sure they’ll EAT it instead of giving it to an animal-killing supporter). Will I still love wearing fur (since the brain’s the control freak), or will I lose some of that interest?

Newly Revamped Frizzin’ Friday!

So people!

Happy New Year! It’s 2009, what a great way to celebrate! Guessed how I welcomed the New Year? By checking out King Kong Jane live, heading to catch the fireworks, then cursing like mad trying to get a cab with so many drunks cutting my queue (though they too couldn’t get any cabs)…And the green chicken at the Esplanade? Haha great band!

(And thank god I didn’t hang around at home to watch the countdown… did you see Adrian Pang doing a Rihanna? And don’t get me wrong… but why Rivermaya when we have great bands here? Jeez…)

Wendy Phua’s at Plaza Sing!

Remember Wendy Phua? The great bassist and live looper?

She was the first musician featured on the show. A Yamaha endorsee, Wendy Phua is performing Bass Looping this Saturday 27 Sep 2pm at Plaza Singapura Yamaha Combo Shop. She will be playing songs from her solo bass EP “Between Here And Then” and talking about her set up and what it has been like to be a solo bassist in Singapore. You guys should REALLY check her out!

She’s incredible, and who knows, you might just pick a thing or two, or get fatally struck by an inspiration or something. Catch her this weekend at PS!

And I might be there too! (Lol okay, that wasn’t much of an incentive, even if I decided to go drag.)
